Story 1 final

By Savon Wilson

The audience for this story is the students on the campus

It  is a story pitch how the students living environment on campus and how they keep their room clean

I think what makes this story interesting is it shows how students can live together in a small area and keep their room clean together and how some roommates get along and some don’t

I’m going to interview my friends Noah,Mason, or Chris and the reason why I chose them is they live in the same dorm and they know what it’s like to live with a roommate and hove to keep their side clean.

  1. How do you deal with having another person live with you? How did you and your roommate get along? Did yall talk in the beginning or not, what do you and your roommate do to keep the room clean , what do you and your roommate do in your free time ,do you get along with your roommate, how you and your roommate get along, have you and your roommate set boundaries and if so how yall set them? What would you want to tell someone about having a roommate in college and how to have a good living environment , and how do other students have good living environments?

I learned that some students on different campuses make planner, and put your living area on top priority. Dust and vacuüm 10 minutes a week. Incorporate cleaning into your weekly schedule, and in no time the room will be clean if they just do it and dont wait until the room is dirty and if the student keeps doing it. It will be second nature to them. And it can be your first time living with another student and yall should set boundaries and have respect for one another and if yall have issues talk about what happened and yall dont have to be best friends to have a good living environment. living with someone you don’t know like that it is not designed to be the easiest thing in the world. To get along with your roommate you should be honest with him or her. yall can do something together like play the game, watch a movie, get involved in campus organizations or go to dorm events and to just put in conclusion find something you and your roommate have in common and bond over so you and your roommate can have a good living environment.

In the interview Mason was interested in the topic and he gave some good feedback and it was interesting and the feedback he gave me was how he likes to live in a dorm with a roommate and he doesn’t have any problem with it and he said it is really fun.

Savon: Who am i’m here with today?

Mason: Mason Paterson.

Savon: Can I record you?

Paterson: Yes you may.

Savon: How do you deal with having another person live with you?

Paterson: I enjoy it a lot. It gives me good company.

Savon: How did you and your roommate get along?

Paterson: We get along well we have good living arrangements so we want bother each other.

Savon: Did yall talk in the beginning or not.

Paterson: yes we talked a lot in the very beginning cuz we only knew each other.

Savon: what do you and your roommate do to keep the room clean.

Paterson: We sweep about once a week and just try our best to keep it clean.

Savon: do you get along with your roommate how you and your roommate get along

Paterson: meee and my roommate get along by playing the game.

Savon:have you and your roommate set boundaries and if so how yall set them?

Paterson: We did not set any boundaries and we just know how not to be disrespectful to one another.

Savon: What would you want to tell someone about having a roommate in college and how to have a good living environment.

Paterson: It’s okay to be nervous at first cuz you dont know who they are but over time you realize you’re going to remember them and they’re always going to be good people to you it’s like he is your brother.

Savon:  and how do other students have good living environments?

Paterson: cuz they all create good boundaries and they hang out with their roommates and they all comfortable with each other and make living with each other easter so if you have a good bond with your roommate and respect each other you’ll be fine.

Savon: Okay umm that’s all I have for you today.

Savon: Thank you.

Paterson: Thank you [hahaha].

Over the years a lot of students have to get along with their roommate and not all of the students do but most of them do and it can be bad for the relationship for the roommates and it can cas drama and it want be a good year for the two students and they have to live in the same dorm room together.
